Darien Randolph grew up in New Hampshire and moved to the Capital District to complete her Communications degree from UAlbany. After working for both St Peters Hospital and Taylor Communications, she comes to Mazzone Hospitality with fresh ideas for the events industry.
Going back as far as her high school fashion show, Darien knew she was hooked on event planning and the feedback from attendees. She has always excelled at writing SOP’s and setting her team up for success. “I feel like I have already accomplished a life goal in putting on events that make people happy.”
Darien loves Off Premise Event Planning as it allows her to have a different day every day. “Traveling to different events and venues across the Northeast, it certainly broadens your perspective. It raises the potential and influences of future events you plan.”
Like many of us at Mazzone Hospitality, Darien is a self-described foodie. Her Italian mom growing up was influential in her passion for food. This led to her love of Asian foods and flavors. Her senior year at UAlbany she made an effort to try as many cuisines from all over the capital district as possible and still recommends Tanpopo Ramen Bar on Broadway in Albany for great noodles!
Outside of work you can find Darien spending time with her cat and dog Chee Chee and Wonton and her friends and family in Queensbury.
