Sara started with Mazzone Hospitality in 2017 as a Business Analyst. Today she acts as our organization's Regional Controller, where she works alongside our leadership team to effectively guide key business decisions and raise accountability across all departments. "My passion for hospitality comes from knowing that we are making people happy. Whether it's catering a holiday dinner that makes a family's life less stressful, creating a wedding that a couple will never forget, or simply getting the father of the bride a cup of coffee during cocktail hour so he doesn't have to wait until dessert," Sara says. She's a lover of cookie dough and pizza (not together)! Since she was little, her family has had a tradition of going to Verdile's in Troy for small celebrations. Her husband and her have continued this tradition with their kids. "I love the chicken parm and will still eat it now even while being gluten-free. It's worth it!" Sara currently serves as Treasurer of the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School PTSA.
